Which college are you applying to?
Letters & Sciences for psychology (specifically child psychology and I hope to also do something with special education)

List a few of your most important ECs (a laundry list of 20+ items is not needed)
Volunteer 20 hours/week at horse riding therapy barn for children with mental and physical disabilities, volunteer 10 hours/week at shelter for domestically abused women and children (sit on teen advisory board and plan fundraisers), work ~15 hours/week at local smoothie shop, volunteer at autistic support room 4 hours/week in school, involved with/leader of a few organizations at school (student council, cheerleading, community service clubs, etc), heavily involved in youth group/mission trips with them.

Any other significant accomplishments in a specific field
Placed at National History Day competition at state level, recognized through National Hispanic Recognition Program, no big awards or anything though :(

well since sat2 will not be required next year i suggest that you definitely do NOT send in your math1 score. you seem like you would have a strong chance of getting accepted next year. also race doesn’t matter in UC admissions

My stats are very similar to yours, regarding the Out-of-State Hispanic, female, my unweighted and weighted GPAs were similar. But your SATs are slightly higher than mine and your EC list, to me, sounds AMAZING. How do you have time to do all of that?

I also volunteered with different organizations like local libraries, hospitals, and non-profits, but kept it to 1 place per year of high school. I wasn’t in that many clubs (max 2 or 3 per year) but I also founded and held a president position at a club my junior year. It sounds like you’re way more involved in clubs and ECs than I am, and that’s awesome :)

Btw, I’m just telling you this because your stats were similar (or better) than mine in most areas, and I was accepted to Berkeley this year  Good luck!

@LemonCat: Yeah it’s absolutely insane I dont know how I have time for it either haha. I enjoy it but I’m glad everything will be winding down after this year.

Thanks for the help guys :)
