Chance me please?

Can someone please chance me? I'm a currently rising senior in VA. Thanks guys!

Major – CS or Physics
Schools I'm thinking of applying to – MIT, Cornell, Caltech, Georgia Tech, UC Berkeley, UMD, Carnegie Mellon, UVA, Virginia Tech, Rice U

GPA: 4.42 W, school doesn't give UW
Rank: School doesn't do it

2340 at one sitting – 760 Math, 800 CR, 780 Writing

PSAT: Score was definitely high enough for semifinalist, hasn't come yet though.

SAT IIs:
Math 800
Going to take Physics and Spanish in October, probably high scores on them. yeah I know it's late :(

AP's: Calculus BC (5), Computer Science (5), US History (probably 5), Spanish Lang (probably 5), and Physics C: Mech and E & M (probably 5 on both, I'm hoping)

-Working on a project with my physics teacher involving simulating a particle accelerator using parallel processing and special relativity
-Interning currently at George Mason University, doing CS research with neural networks (without pay)

Sorry that was a little long, I wasn't sure how much I should put on there.

I'm kind of new here, but thanks for all of your help guys!

Very strong chances at Georgia Tech, UMD, UVA (in state), Virginia Tech
Good chances at UCB, Cornell, Rice and CMU

For MIT and Cal Tech, what is your race and gender?

Thanks a lot for the fast reply! Sorry I just read the thread about what to put in chance threads and realized I broke a lot of those rules :/. Anyway, I’m an Indian male (considered Asian haha). I really wanna go to Caltech, but I do realize it’s a pretty tough school to get into.

MIT: Reach
Cal Tech: Reach (You need to show your passion for Mathematics.)

Are you attending TJ or Governor’s School?

Yeah I’m in TJ. Hm, I kinda figured MIT and Caltech would be reach but hey, that’s cool, it’s not like the other schools are bad or anything. Thanks for your help!

I think your school name will help your chances little bit.

MIT and Cal Tech have EA, so there is nothing to lose.

Are you applying to U Chicago (EA)?

Yep, I’m going to apply EA to MIT and Caltech, see what happens. I feel that I have 10 schools on this list, which I’ve been told (and I think) may be too many. I was considering U Chicago, but I don’t know too much about it.
