<p>Hi, I'm new to this site but I hope I can find some answers... I really need to get into NC State because I need to be close to home to help my family.
Stats: </p>

<p>-GPA weighted: 4.5 (taking honors/APs next year)
-SAT score: 1740 (going to try and improve it to 1800 or higher)
-ECs: Design Editor of literary magazine 2 years, NHS, NTHS, working at student newspaper at duke university (accounting and creative services)
-multi-racial </p>

<p>Chances? Any help would be appreciated :)</p>

<p>You’re chances are great for NC State, you have a stellar GPA!! I can’t see how you wouldn’t get in! If you work on the SAT score a bit, UNC Chapel Hill would be in your reach as well :)</p>
