Chance me please!

The main reason I'm doing this thread is because my GPA for junior year ended up a bit better than I expected and my SAT scores were much higher than I'd predicted so my target schools suddenly became safeties haha. So I'm not quite sure where I'm at. I plan on going into English and language related things if that helps.

And it would be great if you had suggestions as to where else I might consider, my list is pretty sparse..

SCHOOLS -
-Boston College
-Georgetown
-Villanova
-Notre Dame
-UPenn
-Cornell
-Duke
(Safety schools not listed. I know the ivies are a crapshoot but is it worth a shot for me? I'd never really considered them before. Though I'd be pretty happy with Boston to be honest.)

OTHER
I am a strong writer so my essay shouldn’t adversely affect me, I also think I can get strong recommendations from my English teacher and Latin teacher of two years

Thank you so much for reading and any feedback is appreciated!

I would reccomend that SAT IIs be retaken if you have the time. Some of the schools look at these. Otherwise, academics are okay. (Btw, a B+ would bring your gpa to ~3.95 when recalculated by colleges). Although school awards don’t mean much to these colleges, Magna Cum Laude is a good achievement. You keep your summers busy, but in general, the ECs are lacking a little. You do not seem to show significant involvement. Penn, Duke, and Georgetown would be reaches (and these were the schools i was basing my analysis on). Villanova is a safety while BC is a high match/low reach along with ND. Work on those essays!

It’s not that I’m not significantly involved, I just put everything into a few areas of passion. Thanks! Anyone else? I’ve actually heard that BC would not be a reach with my sat scores and such

Oh and I know ivies are reaches for anyone but I guess I’m just wondering if I’m even a contender and it’s worth applying

Boston College-match
-Georgetown-match
-Villanova in for sure
-Notre Dame-high match
-UPenn-reach
-Cornell-low reach
-Duke-high match/low reach

Just remember they cant say yes if you dont apply! :)
