My parents immigrated here and I was born in NY</p>
<p>I go to an extremely selective high school in NYC, top 800 scorers within a group of 30000 get in, very tough curriculum</p>
<p>SAT: haven't taken yet but according to practice tests- 670-720 CR, 750-800 M, 670-750 W</p>
<p>Subject Tests: Will take Biology, Math II, and Spanish Language next year</p>
<p>AP's: Took World History (4) will take AP Stat and AP Spanish Language next year (also I will take Precal and Molecular Bio next yr)</p>
<p>GPA: 89.3 (my school does not weigh, and will push to a 90-91 by next year)</p>
<p>EC: not much but-

Key Club (9.10)
Interned at an Indian American cultural organization (M-F 10-5) in Manhattan for a whole summer (9th grade)
Volunteering this summer at a public hospital for about 100 hours
Next year I might join the school's PSAL cricket team
I don't know if this counts but in 8th grade I read a letter to President Obama on CNN from my school</p>
<p>I want to become a surgeon or a doctor so I'd prefer BA/MD programs
