ANY TIPS WOULD BE APPRECIATED, CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISM ONLY.

THANK YOU

I can’t answer your question but holy crap, the only thing you haven’t done is been president of the United States

bump? I will chance you back. Also any school recommendations would be appreciated.

How bout Blair Academy and The Hun School of Princeton? They are all in NJ

I dont really care that much about location. Also im looking at top tier schools and not to offend anyone from either school but I would like to take my chances at higher ranked ones.

Milton, Groton, Exeter, St. Pauls

Good so far. I would say continuing pursuing a couple of extra curriculars that you are interested in, and show the admissions officer what you specifically care about. The issue you may run into is that you have so many extra curriculars that it may seem like you don’t have enough time to devote to each activity. That’s just my thinking.

Thank you. Im looking into Exeter but the others dont have strong enough lacrosse programs for me to be interested.

Lol, just pick the most important Ec’s? Like lax and karate and whatever you are pro with?

I understand where your coming from,

I will most likely continue with Football, Lacrosse, Karate, Coaching and possibly another club does that seem like enough?

Also when it comes to admissions are Athletics or Volunteer work more important?

Anything that you are dedicated to I heard. Depends on which school you go to. Some schools need athletes this year, some need volunteers this year, so yea.

I don’t think anyone can tell. Just do a balance of both. Those are A LOT of extra curriculars to continue. I would do (and you can choose): Football, Karate, Coaching (you seem the most passionate about those, and coaching lacrosse is very similar to playing lacrosse) and maybe that business that you operate, or another extra curricular dealing with volunteer work.

Thank you all very much. I was also considering Peddie laughalittle. Do you know anything about there lacrosse program and what they look for in applicants?

I haven’t heard too much about lacrosse, but I believe that Peddie just wants good, well-rounded students that pursue a specific passion (like your karate). Grades are important, as are extra curriculars, and they have a really good balance of both on the campus. Generally it is classified as lower than Andover, deerfield, etc. but I think it’s an amazing school, honestly. They have a very strong emphasis on science (they have a science center newly built for 16 million dollars, with a DNA splicing lab), and a strong emphasis on technology (every student receives a laptop, and there are Genius boards in a lot of the classrooms).

Oh, so it will help that i built my own desktop at the age of 13?

i guess…! i can’t speak for them, so…

lol yea i hope it helps as an accomplishment.

What do you guys think about re-using a great essay from last year?

Hows the financial aid at Peddie?

Re-using an essay is probably not a good idea, because your writing skills probably improved. IMO

Financial aid at Peddie is awesome. 5 million is awarded each year to 40% of the student body. I am on it!
