Chance me please?

<p>Applying to: villanova (reach), loyola chicago, loyola marymount, depaul, gonzaga, sdsu, usf (all targets or low reach), and u of a (safety)</p>

<p>Rising senior, female, white, from California
Christian-Catholic; i'm largely applying to religious schools...not sure if this will matter</p>

<p>3.5 GPA (i'm not sure if its weighted or not, i forget how our school does it) and i know it seems low but i attend a very academically rigorous college prep and i'm not exactly applying to ivies
probably not reporting SAT unless i raise it in oct
ACT: 27</p>

<p>School related EC's:
-track & field since freshman year; varsity since soph year
-spirit club member since freshman year
-leadership academy member since sophomore year
-campus ministry member since junior year--heavily involved in leadership roles in this club, such as freshman retreat leader, sophomore retreat leader, participation in school wide masses; as well as attending monthly meetings
-sophomore service trip participant (overnight trip in low income neighborhoods--learned about food sustainability and the importance of the environment in these communities)
-"big sister" aka freshman orientation leader; serve as a mentor to a group of freshman for their first year in high school
Non-school related EC's:
-summer camp counselor at an outdoor educational science camp (non paid, 90 hours)
-Nordstrom BP fashion board member; attend monthly meetings, participate in fashion shows, cashier in different departments (interested in pursuing fashion/merchandising/business as a career path)
-volunteer as lector and commentator at my church</p>

<p>You should have a good chance in most of the schools you’re applying to, and you’re high matched with SDSU at the very least. If your SAT isn’t so hot, maybe try improving your Act Score? Even one more point will make a difference. </p>

<p>I think for religious schools, you will have a greater chance of getting in, most will have lower requirements since they want students of the religion to join and there should be less competition. Just what I think since I have been getting emails from a christian university, and my stats are lower than yours :p</p>
