Chance me please!!!!

<p>So i'm a rising senior from a suburban new york town and I was wondering what you guys think my chances are at NYU</p>

Ethnicity: White
weighted gpa: 3.85
top 20% out of 367 students
sat score: 2150(760 writing, 720 verbal, 670 math)
act score: 30 composite
sat 2's: taking in september </p>

<p>ap classes: u.s. history(5), AB calc, lit, spanish, and macro economics (taking senior year)
(can only start taking a.p.'s junior year)
Majority of my classes have been honors since freshman year and my gpa has consistently risen over the past three year</p>

<p>extra curriculars:
Freshman Basketball, then varsity for three years
AAU basketball since 6th grade
horse back riding competitively (5th-10th grade)
Freshman Lacrosse
Scholar Athlete (only available to varsity players, 10th-12th grade)
received numerous scholarship pins for high acdemics
National Honors Society
Member of Student Senate
Member of SADD (Students against destructive decisions)
Volunteer 50+ hours for the Women's Club of Putnam Valley Hospital (raises money to support the birthing wing and new mothers at the hospital)
Volunteer work for the Parks and Recreation of my town (helped build numerous biking and walking trails)
Relay for Life junior year
Babysit for numerous families since eighth grade(many are on a consistent weekly basis)
Work at Wilkens fir and fruit farm senior year</p>

<p>Will be majoring in english/creative writing (college of arts and sciences)
What do you think my chances are?!?!</p>

<p>You have as good a chance as most other students. Expect NYU’s admission rate to be 25%~28% including LSP (It was 26% this year not including LSP, 33% w/ LSP). So admission will be competitive. GPA is good and SAT is on par for CAS applicants.</p>
