Chance me please!

Hello, and thank you for reading this.

I am one of -those- people who constantly worries whether or not I will be able to go to a decent college. So, I resort to posting for people's opinions.

Will apply ED.

My statistics:

GPA: 3.6
AP Classes:
1) Chem.
2) USH
3) Calculus BC
4) APLAC
5) APLIT
6) AP Econ (both macro and micro)
7) AP Psychology

My Standardized Test Score:
SAT -1730 - (RETAKING)
ACT - 27 (31-Reading 28- Math 27 - English 23-Science) - (RETAKING)

Extra curricular activities:
1) Captain of the Debate Team
2) Captain on the Knowledge Bowl Team
3) Varsity Rocket Team Member
4) Bassoonist for a Concert Band (must audition to enter)
5) MN Opera Oboist for 3 years (for student camp in summer and in fall)
6) Musical All-Conference for two years.

I have stellar letters of recommendations.

What are your thoughts?

Thank you for reading this, I really do appreciate your comments/suggestions. If you have any other colleges you might suggest for this type of "statistics", let me know.

Gabriel

sat and act are red flags but i’m sure you know that. if you can get your ACT above a 28 you’ll be in much better shape. as of now your sat score is 170 points below the 25th percentile which is hard to justify even with a great class rank and gpa.

i’d go for american, northeastern, bu, fordham, and prob your in state flagship

If GW is your first choice, apply ED, while at the same time applying to a few safer bets with EA or rolling decision. Where do you live?

I live in Minnesota, but I was born in New York. I have been educated in Minnesota my whole life, though. I go to a top-tier Public School.
