Hi,

I'm just a sophomore but I already talked it over with my guidance counselor and I am sure these are my future schedules and for my sophomore year. I'm already in most of the activities listed except for the honor societies; as they do not take place until spring. I have talked to the NHS moderator and he told me that I am a "star student" and I will most definitely be one of the people invited to join NHS in the spring. I also qualify for SNHS and Spanish NHS. I am the top student in my Spanish class.

Last year, freshman:
Biology H B-/B-
Spanish I (Did not offer Spanish I H) B+/B+
U.S History H A/A
English I H A+/A+
Physical Education-Personal Fitness A+/A+
Inner Man-Spirituality B-/B-
Algebra I B-/B-

GPA: 3.8 (unweighted), 4.1 (weighted)

Extracurricular activities: Student council
Awards: First place in National History Fair.

I took 4/5 honors courses provided. Math is one of my favorites, but my weakest subject. My strengths are history and linguistics.

Unfortunately, there were no other extracurricular activities available at that particular school, and due to the fact there were only sixteen high school students who were slightly slow, there were no clubs I could really start.
Freshman year was a difficult year. The school I went to was a STRICT Christian school and I was often persecuted for being Catholic and opportunities were limited. But I had nowhere to go. I could have, of course, went to my zoned high school which has a 78% graduation rate and is a D school. My parents know I'm better than that and they would never send me there. So at the time, this was the only option.

Now that I have moved, I go to a new school. These are my grades so far.

Sophomore:
Chemistry H (Advanced junior class) A-
Spanish II (They cannot fit Spanish II H into my schedule. It will cause me to drop an honors class so it would be pointless. I'm an outstanding Spanish student, and my guidance counselor has tried numerous ways to fit me into Spanish II H. It just won't work unless I drop Chemistry H..like I said, it would be pointless!) A+
World History H A+
English II H A+
Weight training/Psychology I A+
Faith & Tradition/Prayer & Spirituality (required; no honors available) A+
Geometry (Geometry H second semester) A-

Extracurricular activities:
JV Volleyball, Peer ministry, Key Club, Science/Environmental club (Science Olympiads), Varsity Soccer, Varsity Track & Field, National Honor Society, National Spanish Honor Society, National Science Honor Society, Astronomy club, shadowing veterinarians at local animal hospital, research on Aquatic medicine at the Florida Aquarium, reading mentor.

I am perfectly capable of straight As. I have straight As now, and I will never get another B for the rest of my high school career. Because now, I am not put under stressful conditions and I am able to take advantages of the opportunities now available to me.

Junior:
