<p>Brown is definitely my top choice and I'm going early decision there. My other top tier schools I'm applying to are Johns Hopkins, UPenn, and Weslyan.</p>

<p>Stats:
GPA- 3.5UW(3.8 for junior year)\4.3W
Rank- 62 of 450, top 14%
SAT- 2200 (760 math, 760 reading, 680 writing)
SAT2- I will be taking American History, Math 1, and, Math 2
APs- 5 in Macroeconomics, 5 in American History, 4 in Government, and 4 in English Language. And I'm taking Physics B (2 credits), Psychology, European History, English Literature, and Microeconomics this year. AP scholar with distinction.</p>

<p>ECs:
Scholastic Scrimmage captain (general knowledge quiz bowl team). jv in 9th grade and varsity in 10th-12th. 4th place in our conference two years ago, 2nd place last year, and we've gotten to the semifinals of a half state tournament both years.
Debate cross examiner. Varsity in 11th and 12th. Conference champions last year.
Chess. JV in 11th, varsity this year.
Mock Trial Court. I'm one of only four students to make it on.
Philosophical Society president.
Young Republican Club vice president.
Creative Writing Club treasurer.
Students for political action.
Model congress and state assembly. I won 2nd best representative at model state assembly last year.
2.5 years of work at my local library.</p>

<p>your gpa and rank is little on the low side for brown and upenn, but pretty good for john hops, You have good SAT scores which are great, and you have really good extra curriculurs and leadship skills, so i think you have a pretty good chance of getting in to brown, just try to raise your gpa and rank a little before you apply, and you should be good to go :)</p>
