Sat scores: 1800

I will be applying ED. What are my chances? Thanks everyone in advance

It’s very difficult to evaluate anyone based on pure numbers, but you are perhaps in the Colgate applicant pool but I wouldn’t say you are a likely admit. Your GPA is a bit low (sorry to be so blunt!) and your SAT scores are a little below what Colgate prefers. You may want to review and take the SAT another time to see if you can boost your scores.

Colgate loves smart, talented athletes, but you don’t seem to be involved in sports.

Your extracurriculars are fine but don’t distinguish you very much from a lot of other students.

Your academic courses are excellent, however, so that is the good news and you have really challenged yourself with al the AP and Honors courses, so that clearly works in your favor.

And your ethnicity may help somewhat as does your immigrant background, and so on.

I’d say 50/50 at best due to grades and SAT scores but no strikingly distinguishing other plusses. That’s maybe not the news you want to hear, but it’s honest at least. Apply and find out or you’ll never know. And of course, I am no admissions person, so I could be 100% wrong. Don’t take any comments on this forum (even mine) too seriously. They are merely our opinions.
