Taken two honors, one in soph and junior year abd this year i am taking two aps and two honors. What are my chances? Ps, im hispanic.... Dont know if that will help or hurt me.</p>

<p>Your overall GPA is on the low side for UD but your progressive increases over your HS years would certainly help your chances. Taking honors/AP classes is also in your favor. Do your best in these classes this semester and send your results in as soon as they are available. Being hispanic may also help your chances as UD appears to be trying to increase the ethnic diversity of its student population. Your SAT scores are at least competitive. Being from NJ might be a slight negative as there is a high application rate of students from NJ. Unfortunately for applicants UD has been becoming increasingly selective for admission as UD’s academic reputation has been skyrocketing over the last few years coupled with its relatively low OOS tuition rate. You might want to consider setting up a formal interview at UD (it can’t hurt and the more you show them of your desire to be a Blue Hen the better). I would assess your overall chances for admission to be fair to maybe a little better. I feel your grades in the honors/AP classes you are taking this semester would be extremely important so try to ace them if possible.
