- Essay-Struggle with a chronic inflammatory bowel disorder (entered high school at 50-60lbs and weak) which has inspired me to want to specialize in gastroenterology and have empathy for others who have similar disorders. (Also wish to further along any current research to the best of my ability in med school). <em>Passion...</em> wrote my essay about how the experience in hospitals, diagnosing, and tests has changed my view on life and what I want to do with my life in the future with my education (Before the diagnosis, I was -more or less- the "average joe" with no direction in terms of academics and future endeavors)

<p>You seem like you are well qualified for the schools you listed! However, because of the selectivity amany of them, they are reaches (for everyone)! But you do have backups, which is ggood! Best of luck to you! </p>

<p>31 ACT does not suck. Your grades, class rank, and ECs are fantastic. The Ivies are obviously a reach for everyone. The only other college on your list that I’m familiar with is Brandeis, and you should definitely get in there. Your essay sounds compelling; good luck with your studies. I think you’ll have some great options for college.</p>
