<p>Hi, I am currently a senior in high school applying to Brown University’s PLME (Program in Liberal Medical Education). I know that getting into this program is difficult, so I was hoping I could get my chances evaluated. Here are some of my stats:</p>

<p>Cumulative Weighted GPA: 4.4 (highest in my school is 4.4)
SATs: 2250,2380
Superscored SAT: 2400
ACT: 34 (do not plan on sending my ACT to any colleges because of my SAT scores)
SAT Subjects: Biology M- 790, World History- 780, Physics- 740, Math 2-750, Retook Math 2 Nov 5- Will get score in 3 days but expecting hopefully a higher score
AP Exams: Biology-5, Physics B-5, World History-5, AP Language-5, US History-5
Currently taking: AP Literature, AP Physics C, French 5, AP Chemistry, AP Calculus BC, Concert Choir (I used to take Orchestra but was unable to take it this year due to a scheduling issue)
I take a research class and have competed in several competitions:
Long Island Science Congress- Anna Weizenecker Award, State Finalist
YES Competition- National Semifinalist
Siemens Competition
Intel STS</p>

<p>VFW Essay Contest- 2nd place district wide</p>

<p>Extra-Curriculars
Honor Societies: Math, Tri-M (Music), English, French
Chamber Orchestra- 1st Violin
Model UN- Treasurer in junior year, President this year
Academic Quizbowl
Math Team
Habitat for Humanity
Interact- Interact Service Award in junior year
Varsity Badminton- 5th seed in 9th grade, 3rd seed in 10th, 1st seed in 11th- all as a singles player. I was Captain in junior year. I have been a scholar athlete the past three years, and have received the White Letter for the past two.</p>

<p>I have been playing violin for 7 years and the piano to a lesser extent.</p>

<p>I don’t see anything medically-based here; however, I’d still say you have a pretty good shot, though it’s a reach for everyone.</p>

<p>I know, although I’m not sure if that’s necessary to get in. Also, i forgot to mention that I worked in a Microbiology lab with a mentor who was a Pediatrician. i have stressed that my desired occupation is in fact a pediatrician. Could this help significantly?</p>

<p>I’m sure it helps, but this program is highly selective, so who knows what the outcome’ll be.</p>
