<p>Indian male in low ranked NJ public high school.
I am one of the three kids in my school that broke 2k on the SATs in the last 3 years.
1380/2070 Super scored
1st time 1940 Cr:600 M:690 W:650 E:8 (Not sending these)
2nd time 1940 =( CR:570 M:720 W:650 E:8
3rd time 2060 CR:660 M:710 W:690 E:8 FREAKIN ESSAY!!!!!</p>

<p>Freshmen and Sophomore years, I did not do too well. Some As and Bs
9th Took Geometry Honors
10th Took Alg2 Honors
Junior year, I stepped it up. All As except 1 B
Took APUSH AP Bio Pre-calc Honors
Senior year, I am taking Physics Honors AP Calc Adv. Chem Honors
GPA at end of my Junior year was 4.151 weighted. Not sure of UW. Might be 3.5ish
Class rank 31. Top 6%</p>

<p>My schools offers:
English Honors 9-12
Alg1 Honors I took in 8th grade so that didn't count towards my GPA
Geometry, Alg2, Pre-calc, Calc. All honors except Calc, which is AP
AP Bio
APUSH
AP Calc
AP Lit
AP Spanish</p>

<p>I took a summer class at NYU for college credits as a rising junior.
Intro to programming
I have done 5 years of Tae Kwon Do and am a W.T.F. licensed Black Belt
I have many hours of volunteer work from the Key Club
I am VP of Math Club and Computer club currently
I was Treasurer of Computer Club Junior year
I was active in both clubs for my first two years but no positions.</p>

<p>I am also not applying for financial aid. I heard this might help.</p>

<p>what are your sat iis? i think you’re objective stats are slightly low for some of those schools but your rank is probably(?) good considering the school you come from.

<p>I think you should write stellar essays to secure a place at the reaches. I think you have a shot at atleast 1 or 2 of the reaches if theyre good. </p>

<p>Stern is probably a slight reach, Carnegie Mellon is on target, Upenn is probably a pipe dream, Rutgers and Lehigh are safeties and Cornell is a slight reach, probably on par with Stern.</p>

<p>I don’t know anything about the schools you are looking at besides Rutgers Business School. My cousin got in with a similar class rank and lower SATs so you will be fine!</p>

<p>You have demonstrated intense interest for NYU through taking college credits there, which is definitely a plus. I think your ECs are interesting and spread out. I also think you have a strong sense of direction. Good luck!</p>
