-Commonapp: Wrote about the various elements of my identity. Both teachers who read it thought it to be very unique and said it spoke honestly about me.
-Supplement: Very well written and sincere. Why Columbia was mainly about the Core; Engineering was about combining my love of science with my desire to help humanity</p>
<p>Recs:
-Didn't read, but probably good. One from Chem teacher. The other from my Latin teacher (she knows me really well; I'm her first student to skip three years and have an A+)
-Got a rec from Columbia SHP director, but he writes one for any student that asks.</p>
