<p>I have applied to the Huntsman Dual-Degree program with my focus language being Spanish as an Early Decision candidate. I have indicated the CAS as my second choice program with a major in Romance Languages which will be considered Early Decision as well.</p>

<p>That said, you do have a good shot. If you show passion in your application/essay about Spanish (and maybe lax?) they will really like it. If you did all of this, I think you have an above average shot. Also, you’re hispanic which helps quite a bit.</p>

<p>my essays definitely talk about my love of language and my commonapp essay is really well written and gives a lot of insight into my complex background, cultural identity, etc.
