So basically I fell in love with Trinity the moment I stepped on campus.
I come from a public high school, and applied Early Decision 1 to Trinity.
I was one of those students who started out weak Freshman year (B's, C's and D's) but by sophomore year I was in all honors and reciving all A's and B's.
I continued on this good streak until now, senior year. I am taking two AP classes and I'm getting all A's and B's.
My overall GPA averages out to about 3.2
My SATs weren't the best because I struggle with test taking:

My extra-curriculars are excellent:
Theater
Dance
Teem Green (recycling)
Student Government
TAG (advocacy group)
Heritage club (did a home stay in Paris, France)
Across the River (wrote for the local newspaper)
Key Club (community service)

My biggest defining characteristic is my excellence and pursuit in writing. I've been published nationally as well as within my community. I've also attended various writing workshops at different colleges.

I had an interview with Trinity this October that went very well and I left them with a portfolio of my writing.

I know I find out in a week, so it's pointless to point this, but I'm very nervous.
I know through numbers and statistics I don't match up to an average Trin student, but I know I have the abilities to excel there.

i personally have no clue, bc i dont know how much ed i helps you, but i have the same gpa as you, but better test scores (1960), so let me no how you do bc im applying ed ii, trinity is an awesome place so good luck!!!

I never thought I would someday do a “chance me” thread but like hannaleiigh, The uncertainty that accompanies this wait is KILLING me. So I copied the format of a decisions thread and would like if someone could Chance me for ED1 at Trinity please.
NB: I am international so my school system is WILDLY different from that of the US, but I tried my best to explain where needed.
The biggest difference is that our “high school” is actually a 7 year program with 3 exam years at the end…where you basically get tested in subject areas you chose by a regional board.
