My Essay writing skills are not the greatest, so my essay will not necessarily be fantastic.
I have not taken any SAT Subject Tests or the ACTs

Your SAT scores and the fact that you’re applying from New Jersey will hurt an otherwise fine application.

Will applying ED help my chances?

Your grades are very good, but I would suggest looking at some test optional schools like Bowdoin, Bates, and Conn College. Also, check out other LACs like Hamilton and Trinity that accept students with scores in your range. I’m afraid your scores a bit low for Midd. but you should be able to get into some other good/comparable schools.

^scores aren’t everything
