What do I know? I’m just a mom but you seem like an amazing kid and since Bard doesn’t rely heavily (if at all on scores,) you’d seem to have a great chance. Plus they have such amazing science scholarships.

Dude, I just got into Bard like a week ago. It’s score optional. To be honest, I just applied to Bard because it’s score optional (my scores are not nearly as impressive as my grades) and I want a classic liberal arts school (except after getting accepted and doing research I’m actually in love with the school and it’s philosophy). I showed actually no interest and didn’t submit any scores. My grades look exactly like yours and your extracurriculars look impressive. Not to mention, I’m a white, Jewish, female: the ethnicity and gender every applicant pool has ample of. I bring little to no ethnic diversity to the table. My advice to you is to make sure your essay and supplement are REALLY good. I swear that’s what got me in. I feel like you need to be interesting to get into Bard, not a genius. I would say you have an awesome shot as long as your writing isn’t cookie cutter.
