Varsity soccer captain, varsity track, soccer club team captain, president of national honor society, member of science and Spanish honor society, starter for math league, member of an organization called Kalawawa in which we fundraiser and donate money to the poor children of Bolivia in south America, pretty good essays (wrote about Bolivia and my dad as an immigrant and about my best friend ). One decent teacher recommendation and one GREAT one. Chance me please and I'll chance back!

your scores and gpa/rank are great!..how did u not get valedictorian with all those A+'s in aps lol…Your sport and community service committments are obviously very time consuming and I’m sure you’ve developed them significantly, but you will be compared with students who also have the same time committments/ec’s and have regional, state, national or international recognition for them. They develop their skills to an unbelievable level because they have the resources available to do that and the brains to do that. That’s the area I would be concerned about with your application, but I’m also judging from ONLY what you posted here which can’t tell the whole story. But you’re a highly competitve, accomplished student and you should be proud of all you’ve done. Good Luck :)

Good chance, but SAT II scores could hurt, especially if Spanish is your native language.

thanks guys! and yes i agree that my sat II are a bit low but being a native spanish speaker I struggle with the grammer a lot. I’m hoping that being Bolivian (URM) will help me get in

My major concern as far as test scores is your CR as that’s arguably the most important section of the SAT.

Also, just to confirm, are you a US citizen or resident?

do you have the link? and yess I am a U.S. citizen

thanks entomom ill take a look

bumpity bump

what are you going to major in? I’m assuming it’s either math/engineer or history, but those SAT 2 scores are still low. And not many AP classes taken either (how many are offered in your highschool?). I think you have a better chance than me (which I think is around 30-40% so you’re like 40-60%) b/c of Bolivian URM. Also if you’re first gen college, that would help. But I guess what would really make it or break it are your essays.

So good luck! I’m sure you’ll make it to a good college no matter what though!

Well I put that I am majoring in economics and yea i know they’re kinda low But my school only allows us to take APs during our junior and senioryears. So my junior year I took 4 aps out of the possible 5 offered that year which is probably why I am ranked 3rd and not 1st. But yeah for my senior year I am taking 5 APs

I’d say you have a great shot to top schools, but I don’t see any ECs that really set you apart. The URM will help you, but you have to make up for your general lack of involvement with your essays. If I had to put a percentage, I’d say 65% that you’ll get at least one of the top schools. Good luck, and thanks for chancing me!

How is your financial situation?

thanks! and fine…i didn’t apply for finacial aid if thats what you’re asking
