Varsity soccer captain, varsity track, soccer club team captain, president of national honor society, member of science and Spanish honor society, starter for math league, member of an organization called Kalawawa in which we fundraiser and donate money to the poor children of Bolivia in south America, pretty good essays (wrote about Bolivia and my dad as an immigrant and about my best friend ). One decent teacher recommendation and one GREAT one. I'm applying to Harvard, Yale, Princeton, Cornell, Johns Hopkins, University of Chicago, Boston College, Boston University. <p>Your URM status along with your strong stats and resume (athletic ECs in particular) puts you in contention at most of the schools on your list. Your CR score may hurt your chances at some of the super-reaches, however. Good luck!</p>

<p>Just retake the SAT and get a better reading score! Then you’re golden. But how do you get A+'s in all those AP classes but only one 5? Oh well. Blame the teacher, I guess. For now HYP are reaches. Cornell, JH, and Chicago are matches. BU and BC will be safeties for you.</p>

<p>thanks guys! and ya unfortuntely i cant take the SAT anymore so I can’t improve my CR score but I dont think it’ll hurt me enough for the adcom to out right reject me…hopefully hahah thanks for the feedback!</p>

<p>As an URM with those scores and those grades, you’re most likely in everywhere except HYP, and you have a decent shot there, as well. Good EC’s, but for HYP it’ll depend on your essays and the mood of your admissions officer. Chance a brotha back?
