Chance me please

Hey,
I am an out of state student form New york and clemson is my #1. I have a 94.97 GPA, but my schedule is loaded. I've taken 2 courses at my local community college, 2 AP's, and the rest of my courses since Freshman year have been honors. My SAT combined score is a 1710 with a 580 Math , 580 CR, and 550 Writing. My ACT is only a 26. I have done many volunteer projects including volunteering at my local library and a fundraiser for childrens schooling in the Dominican Republic. I have many extra-curriculars including varsity footbal, my schools band and jazz band, and debate club. I am in the national Honors society.I did apply by the priority deadline of Dec. 1st. My class rank doesnt look too great. It's 26 out of 73, but I go to a very small school that is very competitive. It is a all boys, catholic, and military school. Also for leadership roles I am a cadet officer for my schools JROTC program, first chair tenor saxophone player, and varsity football captain. I don't think I left anything out. Also I am applying for their pre-veterinary medicine program, but if I don't get in I will not be heartbroken and my second choice is Bio. Also I am white and I know that does come into account. Please respond. Much Appreciated.
Thank You.

Actually race doesn’t play a factor in Clemson’s admissions reports (at least from everything I’ve heard or seen). Extracurriculars play a minor role as well. Your SAT and ACT scores is on the low side but is still acceptable. Your GPA is great. If you go to a school that has a good reputation, I think that can make up for your class rank.

I’d say that you have an ok chance of getting in. Good luck with the admissions process!

Thanks for the help… would you say it’s like 50/50 toss up or like 65% or…? I’m just a little anxious, I hate waiting lol.

hard to put a percentage on it, I just can’t give you one lol
I know how you’re feeling! I had a really low GPA but high test scores (so the opposite of your situation) so I was definitely nervous as well.

Good luck! (and hold it out for one more month!)
