Chance me please

Hello! I am new to College Confidential, so I don't quite understand how this works, but could any reputable source CHANCE ME for any/all of the following schools? Thanks!:

Rice University,
Northwestern University,
College of William &Mary
Bucknell
UNC Chapel Hill
Carnegie Mellon
P.S- already accepted with Honors generous financial aid to Tulane!

Ok here it is. I am a plain White girl, btw:

AP Scholar with Distinction: US Govt. & Politics (self-study) : 5, Physics C-Mech: 4, AP Calculus AB:5, Psychology (self-study): 5, English Language: 5

Unweighted GPA- 4.0, weighted- 4.6
I also loaded up on good classes this year- 5 APs
National Merit Commended Student, National Spanish Exam Gold Award, etc.

Other Awards:

Girl Scout Gold Award

Rotary Interact Regional Speech Contest Winner

Ran varsity XC on state-ranked team all 4 years of high school

Appalachia Service Project- 4 years (1 week every summer and weeks preparing for trip), fix trailers in the impoverished Appalachian region

Rotary Club- president, Girl Scout for 12 years

probably do 200 hours of community service per year

P.P.S- I certify that all of this is real.

Oh I also am editor-in-chief of my school’s award-winning paper!!

Anyway, what does BUMP mean

bump!?!! please

I honestly dont see a reason why you wouldnt get into any of these schools!

hahahaha do not worry at all. kick back, relax, you’re in.

Thank you both!

You have a fantastic shot at all of the above. All I can think to say is that your ACT is just little low to Rice and Northwestern and UNC is quite difficult OOS. Otherwise relax, your ECs are fantastic, as are your SATIIs, GPA, and awards. Best of luck!

Care to chance back? http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1276395-post-application-chances-top-schools.html

Yes, I think UNC will be tough. I do have legacy at Northwestern though! And I REALLY hope I get into Rice…

Thanks, freddy! I chanced you back…

bump!!!1

I honestly think you should be in everywhere. Great/unique EC’s make up for the ACT score, i’d say. (it’s still a bit higher than mine anyway) good luck!

^^^ Same as above. You seem to have a great chance at every one of those schools!

Update: Deferred from UNC-CH. We’ll see…

I got 4.0 both quarters (classes= AP Calc BC; AP Spanish 5; AP Physics E&M ;Comp Sci 1 Honors; Journalism 3; AP English 12; AP Econ)
I got all As but 2 Bs in Physics and Spanish for midterms

I think you are a great applicant for all of these schools. The only one where I see any difficulty from an academic perspective is Northwestern - not because you’re not good enough, but because it is hypercompetitive these days; almost as difficult as the Ivies. But it could definitely happen for you. Best of luck.

Thanks for your response!!

bump

so just an update…
