<p>@anvesh - Noone can predict how much grant/loan the financial aid office offers. You seem to be stuck on this. Apply to a broad range of colleges, private, public. The list we have given you is a good start.</p>
<p>For now, focus on getting a great SAT score, apply to colleges, and sit back and compare the aid packages when acceptances start coming in. FA is really unpredictable and it is a case by case basis.</p>
<p>And yes, your admission to your list of colleges (post #6…good list) will be need-blind since you are a US citizen…as most of the US folks themselves (people like me 
) cannot afford 55k/year …!!</p>
