Chance me, please!

<p>hey guys, i am basically done with my junior year at school and am trying to get an idea of what schools i should apply to and whether or not i have what it takes to get into some of these schools. for the following background, i'd like you to consider the following schools.</p>

<p>**Top Choices: Virginia Tech, Villanova, Penn State
Other schools: Delaware, Maryland, Pittsburgh, Uconn, Syracuse</p>

<p>GPA: 3.35 unweighted, 3.46 overall (it is not as good as it can be, but my grades went from 3.1 gpa freshman year to 3.7 sophomore year and 3.5 junior year)</p>

<p>School: Staples High School (Ranked #1 public school in CT)</p>

<p>AP/Honors Classes (includes intended senior classes as well):
Algebra II Honors
Physics Honors
Pre-Calculus Honors
AP Physics B
AP Calculus AB
AP Economics</p>

<p>Other classes throughout 4 years:
Drawing/Advanced Drawing
Spanish 2A,3A,4A,5A
Chemistry A, Biology A
Geometry A
English 1A,2A,3A, Myth&Bible and Film Analysis
Western Humanities A, American Government, U.S History A, African Studies
Beg. Design and Tech
Culinary Arts 1 and 2
Narrative Film, TV Production</p>

<p>ACT (30 overall): 35 science, 31 english, 31 math, 23 reading (yikes)
Have not taken SAT yet, but also plan to take 2 SAT Subject tests (Math II and Physics)</p>

<p>EXTRACURRICULARS (work always a big part of my life):
camp counselor (5 years)
wakeman boys and girls club (3 years)
driver for saferides (2 years)
service league of boys (community service for 4 years)
relay for life member (2 years)
AAU Basketball/Recreational Basketball as well (4 years)
Cross-Country (2 years)</p>

<p>Please tell me my strengths and weaknesses towards any of these schools for I'm looking for any feedback possible. Thank you!</p>

<p>I think the schools you chose were realistic and your ACT scores are great. Honestly, I wouldn’t apply to Georgetown unless you want a reach school (referring to soocollege94).</p>

<p>btw I’m from CT too, and live very close to Westport. How ironic is that?</p>
