<p>I am planning on applying to PS University Park and I'm extremely nervous about being admitted! My GPA is a 4.0 and my current SAT is a 1780. I have TONS of extra curriculars and plan on getting great recs and writing a fantastic essay..Do i have a chance for admittance or summer session!</p>

<p>You’re SAT is in the middle 50% of admitted students to UP, you’re fine. Is your GPA on an unweighted scale or weighted? If it’s weighted 4.0, you’ll need to get it up, because that probably means your unweighted is low</p>
<p>Yes a 4.0 is it unweighted but since im not in all honors and APs my unweighted is still a 96</p>

<p>I think you would be set, but I highly recommend taking the SAT again to try and get above an 1800; it can’t hurt. </p>
<p>I got in with a 3.0 and a 1970, I applied to the College of Communications and I am doing the summer program.</p>
<p>Also keep in mind, the summer program is $10,000 and Penn State is pretty stingy with financial aid.</p>
