Chance me please?

Hey everyone,
I am wondering what my chances of getting in are and what I can do to improve them.
I am currently a Junior.

SAT Subject= will take in June, hoping for high 700s in Math 2 and Chemistry.
GPA= 3.95 UW

APs= AP world=5 This year= AP Lang Ap Calc AB AP Chem Next Year= AP Lit AP Calc BC AP Bio AP Micro AP Macro
EC: Beta Club, NHS, NHS in Science, NHS in Spanish, Varsity Cross Country, Varsity Track, Varsity Math Team, Instructables Club (Co-founder and officer), Medical Society, Volunteer at a local hospital, Volunteer at a local charity (President of Junior Executive Committee at the charity; led committee in organizing annual easter egg hunt for more than 150 Foster Children for 3 years in a row)

What should I do to improve my chances?
Also I am interning this summer at a startup, creating a social networking website to link patients and doctors.

Extra curriculars are solid as well as your test scores. Looks like you have a decent chance of getting in as you are a competitive applicant. Make sure you take the essays seriously and express your passion for Georgetown during your alumni interview, as both of those will push you over the edge and set you apart from others with high test scores and good ECs like yourself. You’re ranked in the top 15% which is nothing special and honestly the majority of applicants are from equally competitive high schools so I wouldn’t use that as an excuse for why you’re not ranked higher. Other than that I’d say your chances are great! Hoya Saxa!

I’d say your chances are more than decent - if you extrapolate out the scores from the College Board, that 2310 puts you probably in the top 10 percent of kids admitted into GU - at least the top 15 percent. So, the question you have to be able to answer is: what is it about GU that would make a kid come up from Georgia to go there? That will need to come across in your application.

You also asked what you can do to improve you application. While it seems pretty strong across the Board, I don’t see anything like student government positions, as contrasted with club positions. Schools have grown wary of ‘clubs’, as two kids can get together and form a club or two and elect themselves president. But, if you become student body president and craft an initiative that betters student life, that really shows to schools what you’re likely to contribute to their student body.
