As long as your right a stellar essay, I think you will get into Reed

Why do you want to attend Reed? As always, the Why Reed essay is important.

I just wrote my massive Why Reed essay. I’d love for someone to read it.

How many pages do you mean by “massive”? ._.

Roughly 1300 words. The prompt said “be thorough.” I really just gave me an opportunity to just talk.

I don’t really remember how long my Why Reed essay was–to be completely honest, I cared more about my Common App essay than my supp, since the topic was much more personal and relevant (literally happening throughout the process of writing). But 1,300 isn’t as scary as I imagined when I saw massive XD Probably a good draft. If you’re accurate in saying that you “just talked,” though, then definitely edit that down; these college essays are meant to be lean.
