I'm going to apply to the following colleges in the fall:
Case Western, Cornell U, Lawrence U, Northwestern U, Oberlin College, Purdue U, Rose-Hulman, Stanford U, U of Notre Dame, U of Rochester, Vanderbilt U, and Wash U in St. Louis
*With Lawrence U and Oberlin, I would do the 3/2 program (3 years at LA school and then 2 at partner school probably Wash U to end up with a BA in physics or chemistry or something similar and BS in engineering)

I am looking to go into a field of engineering, possibly chemE. I know that it's a lot harder to get into engineering schools but I'm hoping that I'll be able to still get into some good programs. Please chance me for any or all of the schools I listed above. My dream school is Stanford U but I know it's extremely hard to get in. Thanks so much!

You have decent test scores (SAT II’s are iffy), especially for Stanford. You have a lot of EC’s, but remember its quality, not quantity. Your app would have looked much more appealing had you continued with softball, and had more years with Student Council. But still, your EC’s are a plus. Your GPA and ACT scores are great so they’re a plus too. Job experience always looks good and you seem to have a bunch of awards. All in all, I’d say that Stanford, Cornell are both reaches. Case Western, Vandy, Wash U are also reaches, but you have a better chance to get into it. All the other colleges seem to be low reaches or matches.

Stats:
All your test scores are iffy. 33/34 ACT is not really that good compared with everyone else applying for Stanford. You’ll want a 35 or 36 or SAT score equivalent of 2300+ SAT IIs are very low. For Stanford you’ll need 750+ for all of them. The 4 on Euro is ok, but you’ll want 5s on all of the tests for your junior year to really balance it out. GPA is definitely good. I want to know how competitive is your school. It doesn’t seem like it’s too competitive from the Stats you give (A lot of the time the stats of the person really reflect more on the school rather than the applicant)

ECs
Your list is really long. It’s great that you are involved in so many activities  but, it also looks like you don’t have enough time to really put a lot of effort into each activity. It seems more of a well developed laundry list rather than you finding your passion and just going for it.

Overall, I would say Stanford and Cornell are both reach schools. But most of the other schools you have on your list are good match schools and even possibly safety schools (ie: Purdue) Also, if for the rest of high school you really focus on the things you are passionate about and improve your SAT scores, you’ll have a fairly good chance at some good schools :D

Keep up the good work and good luck in applying!
