I got into ME with a 3.95 UW and 1390 (M+R) if that helps. Your GPA is solid, just need above a 1350 SAT or above 30 ACT and you should be good.

GPA is OK. Fanatic16 is correct on the test scores. SAT II’s are irrelevant for Cal Poly as they do not accept them. The school prefers the ACT. EC’s are not a big factor. Recommendation letters are not accepted either. It is basically, test scores, GPA and courses taken, among other factors. Good luck!

GPA and course schedule are excellent, but you probably won’t get in unless you raise your SAT (CR+M). Fortunately, you have several months before the fall to study for the SATs. Instead of just trying to get 1300, play it safe and go for 1400+ so that there is no uncertainty. Also, if you do that, you might as well try to raise your SAT high enough to get into some more prestigious universities since some of your attributes are above the typical Cal Poly admittant.
