Do you have any idea what your unweighted GPA is? As far as I know, UW only looks at an unweighted GPA, and that could really hurt or help you depending. Overall, I think you have pretty good prospects. Just be sure to work hard on your essays, they play a huge part (from what i’ve seen) in the admissions process.

Good luck! :)

Oh Right, haha I forgot to add my unweighted.
It’s ~3.4.

Yeah, that will definitely be the tougher part of your application. Your OOS status could help you, but I’m really unsure as UW has been accepting more instate kids in the past year or two. I’ll let someone else judge on that part, because to be honest, I have absolutely no idea.

GPA is really hit and miss from what I’ve seen. I’ve heard of 4.0 2000 SAT applicants being denied, while 3.5 1700 SAT being accepted. It all depends on how well rounded you appear. And from your other points, I can see you are.

Just be sure to write good essays. I think you still have a chance :)

Besides your GPA, I think you have a strong application. I would apply if I were you.
