<p>Normally I’d call that profile a match situation, but with the recent increase in the number of applications and the concurrent drop in the admissions rate to ~18%, I think you should view USC as a reach situation.</p>

<p>Honestly the students from my high school class who were accepted had a weighted 4.0 or above, but my friends little brother wa denied and he had over a 4.0. However, everyone is different, it helps to have something that really sets you apart. If it’s your dream school and you are denied don’t give up, it’s easier to get in as a 1st year transfer.</p>
