I am planning to apply to NYU, Boston College, Boston University, Binghamton, Stonybrook, Hofstra, and my dream is to be accepted to Macaulay Honors at Baruch. Do I have a chance? If not what would I need to improve on?? Also should I take the ACTs and SAT II's? Thanks guys

I’m here to offer what I have seeing that no one else has answered. I dont know much about these colleges, but heres what I have:

GPA weighted and unweighted look pretty good for these schools

Try and get CR 700+, M upwards of 700 and W to the 600, this will really raise your chances at all of your schools and make some of them a shoe in.

AP Scores poor, but i really dont know how they will look towards these colleges.

Good ECs (i’d try and get some 100-150+ hours towards something for community service), I’d also try and get a leadership position or two in the clubs your in.

NYU might be a reach (not sure), but I dont think you’ll have too much trouble, though I really dont know enough about these schools to say.

NYU - ? : depends on the program, and even then they admit and reject erratically.
BC - Reach
BU - Match
Bing - High match
Stony - Match
Hofstra - Match
Macaulay H - Reach (program is growing increasingly competitive)
