<p>not really expecting to get in, just applying here since ivies are way outta reach. my counselor rec shouldn't be too bad, my teacher rec should be pretty good, and my essays are turning out a lot better than I thought they would be. What do you think?</p>

<p>I think you have as much of a shot as anyone else. Your extracurriculars are pretty fantastic and I don’t know how much of an emphasis uhicago places on ECs but with yours, you’ll at worst be deferred. Good luck! Chance me back?</p>

<p>Your course load and ECs look great! If your essays are strong, I’d say you are a competitive applicant.</p>

<p>Chicago = high reach (less than 10%). Even with very good essays and strong EC’s, your numbers do not match up to their 25% medians. Not impossible, but unlikely. Do you have some safeties? Are you giving UVA and W&M a shot?</p>

<p>^ UVa is actually my top choice, what do you think about my chances there?</p>
