Do I have a chance for summer?

Or don’t reply, its whatever.

LOL, I’ll reply. I think you have a good shot as long as you apply early and don’t let their spots fill up. Good luck!

Good chance.

Thanks I applied august 1st but asked them to wait for my new SAT math score since it was below 500 (it was 490) than after months of studying and a prep class I only went up 10 points -__- but still I’m greatful to just get 500. Hopefuly I can get a decsicion before decemenber at the lastest because UCF is my only choice, its either there or go to the local CC.

I think you have a so-so chance for summer-
Piece of advice. Retake the SAT and hopefully you can pull out possible 50 extra points which will help you significantly. UCF does a rolling admissions, so before they decline, you can submit all the “IMPROVED” information you can .You have nothing to lose. Good Luck!
Also, try USF & FSU - both very good schools

I’m sorry I just can’t take the SAT for a 4th time (i’ve already taken this past October one hoping to get those 50 points) but I’ve plateaued in Math, I really can’t go any higher. I really hope the scores I have now can get me in for summer. My school has a chart of summer statistic for UCF addmission and I exceed the scores in reading and writing, I make the GPA AND ACT cut as well, the only thing I’m below in is math, I would hate it if the only that kept me back was math -___-

^^^
Sorry, but although retaking the SAT may be a pain in the butt, hopefully the increased math score will improve your chances. If retaking the SAT this Saturday will cause you too much stress, then enroll for the December SAT test and during the next six weeks, concentrate —ONLY—on the math section by reading up on all the SAT practice test. There are also many free online math practice test that may help and if you Google SAT math help on you tube, many help sections are available. If all else fails, then may just “get lucky” and your math score will increase for no other reason than just luck. Good Luck and don’t give up.

@ TVguideguy, I’m sure you’ll make it in. Your stats aren’t too bad. I only had a 530 in math.

You did the right thing applying for summer? So, did I.

Have you taken any AP’s?

Thank you and yeah I will have taken a total of 4 AP classes by the end of senior year
