Chance me please

International Student (Not applying for any kind of financial aid)
3.1 GPA (Top 20% of class though)
1820 SAT (730 CR 590 Math 500 Writing)
Almost no ECs as many of the usual ones aren't really supported in my country
8 months of paid work in my area of interest (film)
1 yr of volunteer work

The major i'm applying for requires a supplement, which i believe is my biggest selling point, i have a good portfolio.

Applying to: NYU, USC, UCLA, Wesleyan (among others, though these are the most selective ones)

I believe i have kinda low chances, but doesn't hurt to get someone's elso opinion. Also, should i retake the SAT? I've only taken it once.
Thanks

It’s going to be tough. Admissions for international students is always difficult. All four of the colleges you mentioned is a reach, ranging from difficult to mission impossible.

Considering your unremarkable GPA, I doubt retaking the SAT will help that much but it doesn’t hurt to try again.

With your current stats all the schools are a bit unrealistic. Your GPA is rather low, your SAT is a bit on the low side (especially your math and writing scores) and you lack ECs which are rather important to American universities. Have you considered applying to less competitive schools?
