So nervous.

Your Act is very strong, as are ECs. Odd that SAT is weak. Ethnic diversity is on your side; grades are not. My honest assessment is 50/50 chance. Not much help, I know! What was your essay on?

@My3Daughters He gave his SAT score first in the math and reading format (1450/1600) and then in the math + reading + writing format (2100/2400)

Honestly, if you have an upward trend in your senior year, you’ll definitely get in. If you don’t, you may have a hard time but your strong scores and ethnic diversity and strong activities would suggest you have a good shot. I say you’ll get in.

I’m doing a lot better this year with a 3.7. My college essay is about motivation and change, actually. Hopefully it could help ameliorate the whole grade situation.

Great. Your SATs and ACTs prove you have potential and your strong grades should confirm that you’ve learned how to use it. Good luck!

Thank you!

I think it should be interesting to see if you get in or not. Your ACT and SAT scores are excellent! And you have good ECs. But of course your low GPA and lack of APs could hurt you.
