The schools I am interested in - in order - are below. Please chance me for as many as you can:::
Georgetown (McDonough)
Vanderbilt (E.D.)
U Richmond
B.C.
Johns Hopkins
Carnegie Mellon
USC
Claremont McKenna
Wake Forest

I like your chances to get into to Vanderbilt I have family there and she says they really love charity work so I’m sure your time in South Africa will greatly help. Usc (I’m assuming California) should be a home run so you’ll have to choose if you want the cali life

Georgetown (McDonough)-Reach
Vanderbilt (E.D.)-Reach
U Richmond-Match(I think. Don’t know much about this Uni.)
B.C.-High Match
Johns Hopkins-Reach
Carnegie Mellon-Reach
USC-High Match
Claremont McKenna-Reach
Wake Forest-High Match

It all depends on what your UW GPA is. SAT should be a little higher for these types of schools. If you can prove you are indeed Native America, your chances will increase greatly!lol

I am worried that I wont have good choices once I hear back from all of my schools. Any advice where I should ED if you think I wont get into Vanderbilt ED? (I am a business major!!) What do you think about my Georgetown chances? I want to go here but I don’t want to waste a good shot with an ED.

Georgetown- reach because of defer
Vandy- from what I know, I’d say a low match/ reach, vandy’s tough
U Rich: match
B.C: ??? personally don’t know lol
Johns Hopkins: low match
Carnegie Mellon: low match
USC: match
Clarmonte Mckenna: low match
Wake Forest: Match

I’m not too familiar with most of these schools though, so I’m not sure if I’m the best indicator lol

Sorry to say that your scores are not competitive for Georgetown. Aren’t you getting advice since you are at renowned boarding school? Go for Vandy but hat will be tough too. Why business? Nothing on your resume screams business. Lehigh back up?

Yes. My college counselor has advised me to ED somewhere else, and that Vandy is still too much of a reach. She told me that she talked to the GT rep. and that I “read well” in the admissions office, but that the pool is just too competitive to tell. But before I gave up on GT, I wanted a few more opinions. I am going for international business / international relations. I have studied abroad in 5 different countries and interned in another by the time I graduate. Is Vandy worth the ED? @murphy600
