I am also a Canadian citizen in the American school system! I applied to McGill back in November, and have yet to hear anything from them, though I know that they will begin notifying “International” applicants January 27 through March. I’ve been accepted to the University of British Columbia, so I’m no longer worried about McGill. I think you have a much stronger chance of getting into UBC than McGill, since McGill only looks at test scores. Numbers can’t accurately define a student. UBC looks at everything you put in the Personal Profile, which can include your musical talents of 12 years. I know this from experience because I think the factor that helped me the most in getting accepted was my 8 years of music studies as well. Hope this helps and best of luck!

I’d say you have a really good chance. The only think I’d be worried about is that you’re GP is not very high. Other than that I’d say you were a sure in…

Actually I read this really wrong. You’re GPA is amazing, 3.8 weighted is great. I don’t know why but my mind thought you said unweighted, sorry. I’d say U of T would probably love to have you. :]
