Chance me, please?

<p>For San Diego State University</p>

<p>-I have a 3.96 GPA (CSU GPA calculator) and a 1660 on the SATs. (580 CR, 540 math, 540 writing)
-I've taken 3 years honors English, but I believe two of them do not qualify as honors under the UC system, so technically only 1 year of honors English.
-I'm Hispanic and live in the central valley area of California.
-I chose Journalism Public Relations as my major (even thought that's not what I want to study) </p>

<p>I know there is far more to an application than just these things, but I was wondering what you think based off just this? I've wanted to attend this school since my freshman year; it's my dream.</p>

<p>What do you think my chances are? I know you see these posts all the time, but I would appreciate it if you would take the time to give me your opinion.</p>

<p>I say you have a chance… Only thing is that SDSU caters to their SD students first. So since we’re not in San Diego right now it kind of hurts our chances just a bit. Hope you get in though, I’ve applied too!</p>
