Chance me please

Well in high school I had a 3.98 and 4.33 gpa after sophmore year. Stopped caring and it dropped to 3.43 and 3.88 gpa. I really did nothing junior year lol, i know it sucks. I just started lifting and it took over my life i stopped caring about grades. I took AP classes and ap tests still lol.
I took the ACT once and got a 28

I am at CC right now and I have a 3.38 after first semester. Let me explain took chem 1 over the summer got an A, chem 2 I missed mid term so i had to bring my grade to C to B, Calc 1 I had a high B. Humanites I got an A. Sociology I got a B because group ***ked me over by not showing up, I had an A before. Honestly, if it wasn't for Soc i should be 3.58.

Anyways atm, I am taking calc physics, calc 2, CAD, english 2.

I want to transfer to gen ed of uiuc which requires a GPA of 2.7. Anyways, I didn't get in when i applied from high school cuz they only saw grades up to junior year and it was just declining junior year. What's the chances I get in now, senior year of hs i got A's and B's but no C's.

Plan on getting an A in calc 2, B in physics lol, A if I try, A in english, A in cad.

I should have 54 credits by sophmore year cuz of AP stuff and summer school. I am working on my essay atm, have to send in my college transcript and high school stuff.
Any ideas what i should mention in essay, since its asking what i want to accomplish.
My goal is just to get into DGS, take engineering classes and get a good enough GPA and transfer into engineering.

please anyone?

You have a very complicated situation going on… I am lost. I don’t know, sorry.

the negative grade trend, i believe can affect you. However, UIUC allows you to explain in the “additional information” so explain it there and see what happens. You have a lot of AP stuff and credits accumlated so u might get in. Just pick anything besides Engineering and Buisness. Good luck!
