Chance me, please!

These are all hypothetical/my goals for what hopefully I will have for highschool.

-Unweighted GPA: 4.0
-Weighted GPA: 4.2
-SAT: 2190
-ACT: 32
-National Merit Scholar
-8 APs (Senior: Spanish Lang, Lit & Comp, Chem, and Calc AB, Junior Lang & Comp, Economics, and Gov't, Sophomore: US History
-Female, White, live in Michigan
-Class Rank: Anywhere from 1-5 probably, 1 currently but that could change (out of 365 or so)
-Public HS
-w/ my family income I get no financial aid
-Extracurriculars: Orchestra (Involves in class, after school rehearsals, playing concerts for elementary schoolers, playing at retirement homes, Festival, and regional and state solo and ensemble), NHS, Freshman Helper, Musicals outside of my school (play instrument), and babysitting
-Athletics: (Track 3 yrs XC 2 years, probably not varsity- nothing special here)

Schools:

-Michigan State
-Texas A&M
-University of Michigan
-USC
-Harvard or Stanford (stretching it, just curious if it's possible lol)

In the order of what I think is most likely:

Michigan State
Texas A & M
University of Michigan

USC

Standford
Harvard

Though lots of things can change depending on recs/essays.

Ooh, okay. o:

Well I have lots of teachers who would be willing to write good recs, and I assuming I do good on the essays, will I have a better chance?

I know my ECs aren’t so hot, so I’m not really intending on applying to Stanford or anything. Maybe after I cure cancer and visit the moon or something.

A brilliant essay might get you into USC. The problem is there are so many talented students (I know that line is overused) each with amazing grades and good SAT’s and good teacher recs. There has to be something that draws the line between acceptance and rejection. Unfortunately in today’s world, good grades alone doesn’t cut it anymore.

Though I think the first three schools are below your talent and USC is a mid reach/match. Harvard/Stanford are hard reaches.

okay, i’ll try for USC maybe O: ty!
