<p>I am currently a Sophmore so everything below can and WILL change, and I would just like to know if I'm on the right track. Also what can I do to increase my chance??? Thanks!!</p>

<p>I am a caucasion female from NC, and I want to major in physics or engineering!!</p>

<p>GPA- 3.917 UW, 4.5 W (with an upward trend!!)</p>

<p>Class rank- 29/387 (will improve!)</p>

<p>AP courses- I'm registered to take 4 my junior year. The rest will be honors. I have taken 10 honors classes as of the end of Sophmore year. I also plan on taking 5-6 APs my senior year.</p>

<p>ACT/SAT- I am projected to get around a 2100 on the SAT.</p>

<p>EC's-
•Key Club, Science Club, Math Club (Potential officer positions 11-12 grade year)
•Honors placement into the North Carolina State Math Competition (Haven't yet done the competition, will be doing in late April)
•1st place Regional Science Olympiad (Will compete at the state level late April, projected to go to nationals)
•Pitt County Robotics Team
•All State NC Chamber Choir (Church)
•Piano Player (proficient level)
•Singer at my Church's Praise Band (Leadership position)
•Track and Field (indoor and outdoor) (Conference champs!)
•I plan on joining my schools National Honors Society, Math Honors Society, and Science Honors Society. (Possible leadership positions!)
•Feed the homeless every Tuesday at my church
•A ton of volunteer hours.
• Junior Miss Pagent participant
•Also, my family has started a non-profit organization helping abandoned and stray animals in our community. And I take a huge part in that taking a leadership position!!!</p>

<p>Is there anything I can do to increase my chances of acceptance? Also, what other colleges would be a match?? Thanks!</p>

<p>It is too early to chance you. However, you should try to achieve the best disregarding which schools you want to apply. For the admission stat of these schools, you can find them on this website or college data. If you can maintain your GPA at this level and get an SAT score above your current projection, you should have a good chance for all these schools. Your EC is about average. It would be good if you can get any awards in the state or national level. Having leadership position in some EC is good but having too many would indicate you are lack of passion or focus. It would be better to have 1 or 2 items that really show your passion in it.</p>
