Dartmouth (grandfather attended school here)-decent
Stanford (brother is a sophomore)-legacy doesn’t apply here. Scores are not high enough
U Chicago-slim.
MIT-slim
Cornell-decent
U Penn-slim
Northwestern-decent
Vanderbilt-decent
Harvard-slim
Colombia-slim
Indiana University ( chances of scholarship)-good. No one can chance a scholarship. It’s based so much on your scholarship application’s quality. Your grades should be fine to get you the scholarship.

The reason I put slim for some of the schools is mainly based on your tests scores. Contrary to popular belief, test scores are still quite important to gaining entrance to elite universities. Your good but not stellar SAT/ACT scores may not get you into a lot of the Ivy league schools. Also you lack SAT II tests, which are also important. Other than that, you have a good list of extracurricular activities. I think that will jive well with Dartmouth (legacy), Vanderbilt, and Northwestern.

All in all, it’s pretty difficult to tell exactly how things will turn out. So please take my reply with some reservation. Good luck!

Thanks for the response!
I definitely agree that standardized test scores are incredibly important because its one of the few means of comparing students directly as far as academic ability, I am planning on retaking my ACT come June, do you think a 34-35 would give me a better chance of admittance?
