I'm a Chinese international student enrolling in a Catholic high school currently as a Junior. Sophomore year is my first year in US and my school would not let me take many hard courses and the first quarter English grade really dragged my GPA down..
Linguistics is the field in which I wish to study in and I believe that I have an pretty adequate understanding of linguistics. I create several constructed languages and one of which is almost complete.

I'm fluent in Chinese(Mandarin, Wu and I am good at Classical Chinese), English and I know a little bit about many languages (Spanish, Russian, Japanese, Latin, Scottish Gaelic).

Personally, I believe myself to be fairly philosophical since I've read many books about philosophy and developed a line of thoughts in philosophy. But I do not know if it matters or not in college application.
