<p>I am Chinese, applying from an British international school in Beijing, with a 6 years of british international school education including 3 and a half year spent in Malaysia. My first language is both English and mandarin, and I know a tiny amount of Malay.
My IGCSE grades are as followed

I am currently taking core math, English lit., biology, business studies, geography, mandarin and extended project, the grades have yet to come in but I am predicting b or above for all subjects.
My school does not do GPA but on average I think i am in the top 10%
I am a editor and designer of the school magazine, a member of the drama club and have acted main roles in several plays and is currently co-writing and directing another, I founded the roller skating club at school, a certified first aider, silver international award, Chinese dance grade 8 and ABRSM piano and theory grade 8 and 5 respectively, play the Chinese flute and ice skates as well. I am also the house captain of my house ( if you are not familiar with this concept of houses, think of gryffindor in Harry potter but on a much much smaller scale)
Aside from peer tutoring English and math, I haven't done much volunteering work as it is really hard to find chances in china, the same applies to internships and work experiences.
My december SAT score is a 2050 but I am hoping to improve it by the October test to somewhere along the lines 2200
I not sure if I need a tofel score so I haven't done one. If you think I need one please tell me!!!
For SAT 2 I took math level I (770) and biology E (690) I am going to take biology again and maybe literature too in November hopefully I'll get a better score
I am planning to apply early decision this fall with undeclared major for either Columbia university, NYU, UCLA, Vassar college or university of Northern California

If at home you mean UK schools, I haven’t really looked into them, my parents kinda wanted me to go to US from the start
And in case you are talking about Chinese universities, there is no way I can get in, I haven’t been in the system for long time and my Chinese is not good enough for a Chinese university entrance test

<p>It’s really hard to chance an international with a resume like this. However, I would say that Columbia is a high reach, Vassar/USC are reaches, and UCLA/NYU are high matches.</p>
