Chance me please!

Hi guys, this is my first post so can you please tell me how eligible I am for the
schools I've listed below? I'm an easygoing music-lover, tree-hugger, and science-geek, so if any particular school seems to fit my personality based on your experiences, please point that out. And any place that gives more merit-based financial aid, because my family is relatively affluent--although I have a twin. Thanks!

My sister is Colgate class of 2017 and got in with a 2000 SAT and similar GPA.

I think you’re a competetive applicant to those schools. I think it’s recommended to apply to 8 though so maybe cut those down to 12 or less (2-3 safeties, 3-5 matches, 3-4 reaches). If I were you I’d apply to brown, cornell, amherst, Brandeis, grinell, macalester, Gettysburg, and st Olaf.

I have a thread on here too and am applying to similar schools.

^I agree with Cholgan. You need to focus on 8-12 schools. You’ve done a decent job of chancing yourself. How, exactly, is your twin in college and you’re not?

Chance me? The title is “Let’s chance each other!!!”

for your ‘reaches,’ you SAT is a little low for the Ivies (50% or less) but you GPA is fine and EC are great, try to find a leadership role to demonstrate to admissions committees.
if u can get SAT up to AT LEAST 2100+,
*Brown low reach / reach (if apply ED)
Harvard reach
Cornell low reach (especially if apply ED)
Swarthmore low reach/match
*Middlebury match
Amherst match
Williams ???
Vassar match

i agree with members above, narrow down the college choices, find the best one that suites YOU. A lot of them are similar but some are very different.

chance back!
