I really appreciate your help! Thank you!

Perhaps due to the competitiveness of your high school, your GPA and class rank are a bit low for these top schools. Your test scores are around the threshold for the top ivies. Your CR score needs some improvement for top schools. You can give them a try, but if you don’t have outstanding EC, your chance would not be higher than their acceptance rate. UCLA would be a high match for you.

Here are some of the numbers of kids admitted to each college for the previous senior class at my school…
Northwestern - 8
Columbia - 10
Yale - 13
Tulane - 15

Does anyone use naviance? What are the average GPAs of kids who get into these schools for your high school? Mine are 3.62, 3.64, 3.82, and 3.37 for the listed schools respectively.

bump bump!

You’re ranking isn’t in the top 10% of your class, so while the GPA is often excusable, you still need to perform well in comparison to your peers for these top schools. You’re CR score (and as a result, your SAT score) is too low for a fair shot at these schools. Sure, go ahead and apply, but don’t be disappointed. I’m sure you know your ECs aren’t spectacular either, so they don’t make up for the stats. I wish you the best, but please have several match/safety schools that you apply to as well.
